Reader Ministry – Share the Word of God

Have you ever felt especially moved while listening to the Scripture readings at Mass? Perhaps God may be inviting you to help bring those words to life for others.

Consider joining our Reader Ministry. Readers serve approximately one weekend each month, usually at the Mass they normally attend. It is a meaningful way to participate more fully in the celebration of the Mass while serving your parish community.

Readers receive training to help them become comfortable and confident proclaiming Scripture, as well as a yearly Workbook for Lectors to assist in preparing the readings throughout the liturgical year.

If you feel called to this ministry—or would simply like to learn more—we would be happy to hear from you. Please contact Julie Groene at jgroene147@gmail.com.

Thank you for prayerfully considering this important ministry and the opportunity to share God’s Word with our parish family.
