Operation Christmas Child

Our 2nd grade 1st Holy Communion and 9th grade Confirmation classes will be conducting a community service event for Operation Christmas Child again this year in the beginning of November.  Operation Christmas Child is an organized event sponsored by the Samaritan’s Purse organization that ministers to more than 209 million children in more than 170 countries and territories.  What a wonderful way to spread Jesus’ Good News throughout the world by charitable giving to those in need!

We will be collecting small quality gifts for children ages 2-14 that will fit in a shoe box sized 12 x 7 x 4 3/8 inches.  A plastic bin with a sign of suggested gift items of toys, school supplies, and hygiene items will be posted in the church foyer until NOVEMBER 9.  Drop-off of all items will occur the third week in November.  THANK YOU in advance for your continued generosity and support!
