From Fr. Carlos

I am happy to tell my parishioners that 9 new seminarians have entered the Major Seminary today, August 17. Their names are: Joseph Dang, John Paul DelVento, Ian Bravado, Alex Camp, Dylan LaBonte, Asher Kaufman, Franklin Santos, Charles Hoeing, Sean Coyle, Ruben Garcia, and Luke Nordstrom. Besides these 9 men, we already had 17 seminarians in formation, so the total number of our seminarians is 27! Soon, we will have a new poster with their pictures. The prayer of vocations we recite after Mass is bearing fruit. Please keep all our seminarians in your prayers.

Heavenly Father, You have created us for some definite purpose. Grant us the grace to know the path You have planned for us in this life and to respond with a generous “Yes.”

Make my parish, my home, and my heart fruitful ground for Your gift of vocations to the priesthood of Jesus Christ. May our young men respond to Your call with courage and zeal. Stir among them a desire and the strength to be good and holy priests.

We make our prayer for priestly vocations to You, Father, in the Holy Spirit, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
