From Father Carlos

Last Sunday, August 30, I had the opportunity to spend some time with those who participated in “Growing Together for Our Future: A Celebration of the USA 250th.” I very much appreciate all the preparation, setup of stations, and the support offered by our Faith Formation Coordinators and teen volunteers. I stopped to say hello and thank the volunteers at the Community Garden, Meditation Prayer Garden, and Pollinator Garden. The Summer Singers brought joy and music to the event. They sang “In the Garden” a beautiful hymn that I enjoyed very much.

I was also able to meet several families, including one family who is planning to join the parish.

Thank you to everyone who prepared for and celebrated this special day by instilling in our youth a love for nature and gardening. Thank you as well to all those who brought non-perishable food items for the Marlborough Food Bank.

You generosity, dedication, and enthusiasm helped make this day a beautiful and meaningful celebration.
