Justice and Compassion

God’s strength is shown not by crushing sinners but by patiently inviting them to conversion. His justice is always accompanied by compassion. He never ceases to seek the lost, to forgive the repentant, and to encourage those who struggle. This divine patience teaches us how we should treat one another. If God has been patient with us and continually offers us another chance, should we not be willing to extend forgiveness to others?

At every Eucharist, we gather as God’s family not because we are perfect, but because we need His mercy.

We come carrying many gifts and talents but also come with weaknesses, sins, disappointments, and wounds. At this altar we encounter the God who never tires of loving us.
