Bill Gilles was ordained on June 8, 1991, by Archbishop Whelan, so he is celebrating his 35th year of ordination. Take a moment to thank Deacon Bill for his years of service and congratulate him on his 35th year. Oh, and don’t forget Eileen; the woman behind the man 😇. 

Prayer for a Faithful Deacon

Lord Jesus Christ, You came among us as one who serves and called Your disciples to follow You in humble love. We thank You for the faithful ministry of Deacon Bill Gillis and for the many years he has devoted to serving Your Church. Through his proclamation of the Gospel, his care for those in need, and his witness of faith, he has helped bring Your presence to countless lives.

Continue to pour out Your Holy Spirit upon him. Strengthen him in his vocation, renew him with Your grace, and bless his family and all who have supported him through the years. May he always find joy in serving You and, guided by Your love, continue to be a faithful servant of Your people.
