Come Sing With Us!
St Augustine once said “He who sings prays twice.” Singing is a longstanding tradition in our church and a form of worship that honors God. It echoes the word of the Lord through music and creates a shared experience that unites us all together.
We encourage you to use the gift of your voice to praise and glorify the Lord, and invite you to consider joining our Adult Worship Choir or serve as a cantor at mass.
Our Adult Worship Choir is a group of people who love to praise the Lord through music and lead the congregation in song. The choir sings at alternating Sunday masses and for special services. The ability to read music is not required. Members range from trained vocalists to those who simply love to sing and glorify God. Choir practice is held from September to June on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:00 pm.
The Cantor Ministry is a beautiful opportunity for confident vocalists to share God’s word through song. Members of this rewarding ministry lead the congregation in the songs of the liturgy. The cantor schedule is flexible.
Instrumentalists are also invited to share their talents in the worship experience.
We always welcome new members to our music ministry and would love to have you join us in song! It is a wonderful way to deepen your faith, grow musically, and become part of a close-knit community of joyful people who share a love of God and music.
