Welcoming a New St. John Fisher Parish Council Season

As we all welcome the fall season and settle into our new schedules, our Parish Council is getting ready for another season focused on supporting Father George and Deacon Bill, our many ministries, our staff and all our parishioners in: continuing to celebrate our Catholic faith, bringing Jesus and His teachings to our parishioners, nurturing a warm and welcoming environment, providing lifelong learning and all the numerous opportunities to demonstrate and live our faith each and every day! ALL of this blessed by the guidance of the Holy Spirit – Who is active and thriving in our cherished parish of St. John Fisher!

We welcome your input and comments: We meet 5 times during the season

in the months of September, November, January, March and May. Parishioners are welcome to attend and share their thoughts and suggestions during the “parishioner’s comments” portion of the meeting. We welcome a representation from all the various life stages within our parish. One area that we would like greater representation is that of young families and families of our youth population. We are once again blessed to have two youth members on the council representing their speciﬁc and valued role within our parish.

For September, we will meet on Monday, the 15th beginning at 7:00 PM in our church hall. The Parish Council serves as the voice for our parishioners and we truly want to hear from you – whether as a member or by reaching out to any of the council members. Looking forward to another active, committed and results oriented season and the new leadership and support of Father George.
