Our Christian Outreach Committee (COC) is an active ministry that plans, coordinates and offers monthly parish-wide service and social justice opportunities. Our vision is to actively engage St. John Fisher parishioners in service and outreach opportunities that recognize the dignity of all people as we partner with them by demonstrating God’s call for us to care for His people and glorify His name with our collective actions.
Monthly activities are planned and offered to parishioners where we aim to make a lasting impact across populations, life stages and various age groups addressing food insecurity, financial insecurity and a variety of outreach to our greater community, neighbors and parishioners.
We partner with various organizations in providing support to their patrons like the Marlborough Food Bank, St. Vincent dePaul in Middletown, Marlborough Elementary School, AHM Youth and Family Services, A Sacred Place, Caring Families, Marlborough Health Care and Rehabilitation, By-the- River Senior Heath Care and Journey Home to name a few.
We meet monthly and always welcome new members and new ideas. Please consider joining us and helping us all continue to be the hands, eyes and ears of Christ.
