Purpose

The Rosary is meant to draw the faithful closer to Christ by contemplating key events of His life, through the perspective of Mary. It’s a prayer of meditation, intercession, and praise.

Online Rosary ~ How it Works … You can join us with video and/or audio turned off to anonymously be part of this morning prayer session if you’d like. Monday mornings, click on the Online Rosary link on our website around 8:25am. After a brief greeting, you will have an opportunity to offer prayer intentions. One person reads the rosary of the day and another person does the responses. Everyone else goes on mute and follows along.

We rotate the Rosary, praying one of the these four mysteries:

The Joyful Mystery ~ The Annunciation, The Visitation, The Nativity, The Presentation, The Finding of Jesus in the Temple

The Luminous Mystery ~ The Baptisim of the Lord, The Wedding of Cana, The Proclamation of the Kingdom, The Transfiguration, The Institution of the Eucharist

The Sorrowful Mystery ~ The Agony in the Garden, The Scorging at the Pillar, The Crowning of the Thorns, The Carrying of the Cross, The Crucifixion

The Glorious Mystery ~ The Resurrection, The Ascension, The Decent of the Holy Spirit, The Assumption of Mary, The Coronation
