WORD OF GOD SUNDAY
January 25 | All Day
WORD OF GOD SUNDAY
On September 30, 2019, Pope Francis has established that the third Sunday of Ordinary Time be observed as the Word of God Sunday. We celebrate this day on January 25 with the motto "The Word of God dwells among you" (Col 3:16) which reminds us how important it is to recognize that the Word of God is not only found in the Bible but is embodied in our everyday life as a tangible sign through our actions. This means all Catholics are called daily to strive to bear witness to God's teachings through the way we act towards others. And we can't do this successfully without prayer!
