RECONCILIATION

Consider taking advantage of the Sacrament of Reconciliation this Lent. This powerful sacrament allows us to return to a relationship with God as we relieve ourselves from the burden of sin. Father LeBlanc will be hearing confessions during Lent on Monday evenings from 5-6 pm and Saturday afternoons from 3-3:30 pm weekly.

The Divine Mercy Novena of Chaplets

Second Day:

Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF PRIESTS AND RELIGIOUS, and immerse them in My unfathomable mercy. It was they who gave Me strength to endure My bitter Passion. Through them as through channels My mercy flows out upon mankind.

Most Merciful Jesus, from whom comes all that is good, increase Your grace in men and women consecrated to Your service,* that they may perform worthy works of mercy; and that all who see them may glorify the Father of Mercy who is in heaven.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the company of chosen ones in Your vineyard—upon the souls of priests and religious; and endow them with the strength of Your blessing. For the love of the Heart of Your Son in which they are enfolded, impart to them Your power and light, that they may be able to guide others in the way of salvation and with one voice sing praise to Your boundless mercy for ages without end. Amen.

coffee and donuts after Sunday Masses on April 27.
Serving: Coffee, tea, juice, donuts & bagels. Please Join us.

Shelter St Vincent dePaul Sunday, April 27 we will provide dinner for St. Vincent dePaul. The menu consists of Ham, Potatoes, Vegetables, Applesauce, Rolls or Cornbread and Cookies or Brownies. The following volunteers are needed to cook at home, prep work at Church Hall, and serve at St. Vincent dePaul in Middletown. Please have prepared food brought to the Church Hall by 2:30 pm Sunday fully cooked and warm. Servers please meet at the Church Hall at 3:30 pm. Monetary donations are gladly accepted to cover costs of paper plates, napkins, utensils and bottled water. Sign up sheets are at the Church doors.

Non-perishable food, personal care items and household cleaning supplies are now accepted weekly at any Mass. Bags may be placed to the right of the altar. Mass Intentions

Mass 01

Did you realize . . . One of the greatest traditions we have within the Catholic faith is having a Mass said for a loved one whether they are living or deceased. By doing this, we are offering Christ himself for the intention we indicate. Considering that the Mass is the highest form of communal prayer, offering a Mass up for a loved one is a beautiful expression of faith. Masses can also be said as an expression of gratitude, to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday or as we are reminded by the Council of Trent: "for the living and the dead, for sins, punishments, satisfactions, and other necessities."

As St. Leonoard of Maurice reminds us: Let us be diligent in hearing Mass as often as possible, and with all possible devotion; and furthermore, let us endeavor to have as many Masses as possible celebrated for our intention. Mass intentions can be scheduled by contacting the St. John Fisher office at 860-295-0001. Intentions can be offered for both weekly and weekend Masses for both the living and deceased with a suggested donation of $10.00 for a weekly Mass and $20.00 for a weekend Mass.
