With the transfer of the tabernacle from our side chapel to the sanctuary behind our altar, please remember that it is proper to genuflect or bow in the presence of the Lord. Genuflecting or bowing when you pass in front of the tabernacle and as you enter and exit your pew at the beginning and end of Mass is the customary way to show respect and reverence. You may recognize the presence of the Lord by either bending a knee down or, if unable to do so, making a pause and intentional bow.
