Dear Father LeBlanc,
St. John Fisher’s parish recently organized a collection of furniture and household items for our clients who are moving out of homelessness and into housing. When our volunteers, together with volunteers from St. John Fisher, loaded the collected items into our box truck, the 15’ truck was almost completely filled with these donations!
Once again, the members of St. John Fisher have overwhelmed us with their giving spirit. We at Journey Home thank you sincerely for the generosity of your community. We especially appreciate all the work and planning done by Donna Sawan, who has been a consistent champion of our mission.
Our A Hand Up warehouse program is completely dependent on donations and volunteers, and your parish’s efforts made a huge impact. The collected goods will provide for many individuals and families and make their houses into homes.
