Our parish picnic this year will be filled with lots of opportunity to celebrate - the beginning of summer, time together as a parish family, graduating seniors (both high school and college) and our St. John Fisher parish family now in its 50th year! WOW - a lot to celebrate and wonderful reasons to All be together! Sign-up sheets for salads and sides are available at both entrances. Outreach, Service & Social Justice Opportunities

👩‍🍼Baby Shower Supporting Caring Families and A Sacred Place

Our parish has partnered with Caring Families in Willimantic and A Scared Place in Niantic. A box will be in the vestibule during the month of May to collect the items needed for each. Please refer to the May calendar for details.

🍼 Birthright Baby Bottle Fundraiser

Please consider participating in this baby bottle fundraiser. Baby bottles will be distributed and returned during the month of May. Baskets to return the baby bottles will be at each door.

🍞 Marlborough Food Bank
Non-perishable food, personal care items and household cleaning supplies are now accepted weekly at any Mass. Bags may be placed to the right of the altar. If there is a specific need, we will mention it in the bulletin or check out the food bank directly at https://foodbankofmarlborough.wordpress.com.

Mass Intentions

Mass 01

Did you realize . . . One of the greatest traditions we have within the Catholic faith is having a Mass said for a loved one whether they are living or deceased. By doing this, we are offering Christ himself for the intention we indicate. Considering that the Mass is the highest form of communal prayer, offering a Mass up for a loved one is a beautiful expression of faith. Masses can also be said as an expression of gratitude, to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday or as we are reminded by the Council of Trent: "for the living and the dead, for sins, punishments, satisfactions, and other necessities."

As St. Leonoard of Maurice reminds us: Let us be diligent in hearing Mass as often as possible, and with all possible devotion; and furthermore, let us endeavor to have as many Masses as possible celebrated for our intention. Mass intentions can be scheduled by contacting the St. John Fisher office at 860-295-0001. Intentions can be offered for both weekly and weekend Masses for both the living and deceased with a suggested donation of $10.00 for a weekly Mass and $20.00 for a weekend Mass.
