Are you Doing a Spring Cleanout?
The Christian Outreach Committee recently hosted a representative from A Journey Home to help us understand how, as a parish, we can provide support to previously homeless clients as they transition into their own homes. Stay tuned for a fact sheet that we will share to help educate us and describe the various ways we can all be involved. In the meantime, as you do a bit of spring cleaning, please set aside those gently used household items like kitchenware, sheets, towels and even furniture! We will be holding a collection drive at church, and you can also contact A Journey Home directly at 860-808-0336 to schedule a pickup of larger items.
Celebrating Our Loved Ones
Remembering or celebrating our loved ones through the dedication of a Mass is a beautiful tradition of our Catholic faith. If you would like to schedule a Mass, please contact the church office. Beautiful prayerful cards with messages of hope, condolence, encouragement or celebration are available.
We NEED You!!!
Are you in 4th grade or older and looking for a way to become more involved in the St. John Fisher community? We invite you to consider joining our altar serving ministry. Adults are also welcome to join. This is a wonderful way to not only learn about your faith, but to participate in the Mass in a special way. If you are interested or have any questions, please reach out to Melissa
