Our Mission: The Christian Outreach Committee (COC) of St. John Fisher Parish provides opportunities for parishioners to live their faith by showing mercy and care to others through activities supporting the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy. We believe that along with the “doing”, there is a way of “being” that drives and inspires our day-to-day lives in a merciful way for the glory of God and all His people.

chef 01As you may know, The Marlborough Congregational Church sponsors a monthly Drive-Thru Café that provides dinners to patrons of the Food Bank of Marlborough and residents at Florence Lord Housing. St. John Fisher's Christian Outreach Committee provides assistance by staffing the café a few times per year. To date, our parish has prepared and delivered 6 monthly meals to feed 60, most recently January 2018.

Thanks to your generosity, the Marlborough elementary school (MES) and RHAM students are starting off a new school year ready for success! We collected, shopped for and delivered 26 backpacks filled with required school supplies to MES and delivered requested student supplies to RHAM ~ parents of MES students picked up filled backpacks prior to school starting and were overwhelmed with gratitude. The RHAM students (both middle and high school) will access supplies through the guidance department as the school year begins - to include the specific (and costly) calculators required in their math curriculum. Your contributions have impacted these families and students in such a positive way - not only do they begin a new school year equipped for learning, they also begin the year knowing someone cares and someone believes in them - helping our neighbors succeed is just one example of our social justice in action ~ thanks for making it all possible!
