A special thanks to all who donated to the various collections during our Lenten season. Through your generosity, donations are helping people at Immaculate Conception Shelter, House of Bread and Catholic Worker House. Please know that these personal care items help preserve a persons dignityand allow us to share our blessings.

  • A group of 9th graders visited Catholic Worker House in March and served the kids there a lunch which they prepared at St. John Fisher.
  • Others visited St. Michael’s Food Pantry in Hartford and assisted those who benefit from that program.
  • Three Confirmation candidates organized some fun activities for children during a coffee hour after a children’s Mass.
  • The Christian Outreach committee got some help from 9th graders at the drive thru dinner held at the Congregational Church, as well as with filling Easter eggs used at Community Partners in Action.
  • Sandwiches and no sew blankets were made for A Hand Up organization.
  • The Holy Communion banners kits were lovingly assembled for the second graders.
  • Students cut out paper mittens for Father Sas’ Anniversary party.
  • For homebound elderly parishioners, 9th graders made Palm Wreaths.
