This is the final weekend to order:

2019 breaking breadWe will be changing our missals for the First Sunday of Advent, December 2, 2018.  The 2018/2019 missal contains the liturgy for the entire year as well as the hymns and songs.

Families can sponsor a missal for the upcoming Liturgical year with a donation of $10.00.  This is a wonderful opportunity to honor loved ones, living or deceased, or simply dedicate a missal to your individual family.

Please place your completed coupon in an envelope, witjh your donation, in the collection basket before December 18th.  Coupons can be found in this week's Bulletin or click here to download a copy of the coupon.

The Confirmation class is once again making Christmas bags for the men at Immacare Shelter and is in need of decks of new playing cards. Anyone interested in donating playing cards may leave them in the baskets at the church entrances. We are also continuing to collect gently used beanie babies, small stuffed animals and fiction books (children & adult) for various Confirmation service projects.

Patrick Laorden from the Office of Social Catholic Justice Ministry will join us as we take a prayer walk together reminiscent of the journey Mary and Joseph embarked on years ago filled with joy and anticipation.

St. John Fisher Church is hosting a Holiday Shopping with a Conscience Event on Saturday, December 1st, 2018, from tree with gifts9:00am to 12:00 noon, in the church hall. Locally created gifts as well as ethically sourced and produced items from around the world will be available to purchase. There will be something here for everyone on your Christmas list! Free gift wrapping will be provided.

The money raised and donated from the table fees, raffle, and baked goods will support the church’s plan to provide a hands-on packaging meals event in 2019 to help fight global hunger.

operation christmas childWe will be collecting boxes for Operation Christmas Child through Sunday, November 18. If you are wrapping your box, please be sure not to wrap the box shut; instead, please wrap the cover and bottom separately. Shoe boxes are sent to countries all over the world, including the United States, to provide Christmas joy to children in need.

A Special Thank You to all parishioners who donated leftover Halloween Candy so that it can be enjoyed by our brothers and sisters at House of Bread and Immacare Shelter.

Sponsor Certificates: A sponsor certificate for Baptism or Confirmation will be provided to current, active parishioners who have been registered with St. John Fisher for a minimum of six months. A Form may be downloaded (click here) or picked up at the parish office, and all applicants must meet with Father to have form signed and sealed after Mass or by appointment.
