Thank you to all the volunteers, vendors and, of course, shoppers who made our first annual Shopping with a Purpose event a success.

Thanks to the generosity of several vendors who donated to our upcoming global food packaging event, over $1200 was raised for our Lenten CRS Helping Hands project!

We are already well on our way to reaching our goal of $5070 to allow us to package 10,000 meals.

Please join Father Sas as we unpack the glory and beauty of the gospel. All are welcome and encouraged to join fellow parishioners as we reflect and share the gospels of the Advent season. No bible study experience needed, just a willingness to be open to exploring the word of God.


The gifts this year are for the Catholic Worker House in the north end of Hartford, Marlborough Food Bank, the Marlborough Health Care Center and Immacare Shelter.

Special thanks to: our music ministers, altar server and greeters; the Prayer Shawl ministry for your lovely prayer squares that were included in the class journals; the Knights of Columbus for helping to set up the benches and the church hall; Gale Busemeyer for handwriting the candidates certificates; and our 9th grade Confirmation Community for baking items for the reception following the service.

2019 breaking breadWe will be changing our missals for the First Sunday of Advent, December 2, 2018.  The 2018/2019 missal contains the liturgy for the entire year as well as the hymns and songs.

Families can sponsor a missal for the upcoming Liturgical year with a donation of $10.00.  This is a wonderful opportunity to honor loved ones, living or deceased, or simply dedicate a missal to your individual family.

Please place your completed coupon in an envelope, witjh your donation, in the collection basket before December 18th.  Coupons can be found in this week's Bulletin or click here to download a copy of the coupon.

Helping Hands T ShirtSt. John Fisher T-Shirt Sale to raise funds for our Helping Hands project.  The t-shirts can be ordered on-line and will be shipped directly to you (for an additional charge) or will be shipped in bulk to the church and then distributed after masses.  The shirts were designed by senior Ellie Packer and all the profits will go to help fund the CRS global food packaging event to be held in the spring of 2019 to benefit the people of the Burkina Faso.
