It includes Scripture readings, music, and the gradual extinguishing of candles.

The Alba Modanna c.1510 by RaphaelMay is always a month for Mary. Come explore  the strength of our Blessed Mother Mary in a presentation “Mary, Not So Gentle” with Sister Elissa  Rinere on Tuesday, May 14th at 9:15am and 7pm in our Church Hall.

CRS logoWe prayed, fasted and gave alms - and now we celebrate Easter joy! Our Lenten journey with CRS Rice Bowl challenges us as we encounter our Risen Lord to bring the hope of Resurrection to a world in need.
For those participating in alms-giving, please turn in your check representing the change and alms you set aside during Lent. Please make your check payable to St. John Fisher with a notation about CRS Rice Bowl. Please turn in your check next weekend, April 27th and 28th. We will then write one check payable to CRS from our parish.
Know you have changed lives with your donation, prayers and action! Thank you from all of God's children!

Our Lenten Collection for the upcoming week of April 14-20th is Men’s Deodorant. Please place items in the baskets that are located at both doors.

Easter BunnySt. John Fisher Church Faith Formation Classes invite you to join them for our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20th, 2019 at 1:00pm.  All parishioners are welcome & please bring your visiting family!  Come for fun activities, crafts, snacks and drinks!! Expect a visit from a cute and furry friend, too!

CRS Rice BowlAs we begin Holy Week, we encounter Jesus in Jerusalem, a community he knew well. We prayerfully enter our own communities too, encountering those who are hungry and thirsty, and those who need our help. How does your Lenten journey motivate you to serve those we meet in our daily lives?  Please remember to use your Operation Rice Bowl by placing your change aside and continuing on this Lenten journey of prayer, fasting and almsgiving.

Pope Francis has asked our parish to support the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, which helps Christians in the Holy Land. Your support helps the church minister in parishes, provide Catholic schools and offer religious education. The Pontifical Good Friday Collection also helps to preserve the sacred shrines. The wars, unrest and instability have been especially hard on Christians. In these times of crisis, the Pontifical Good Friday Collection provides humanitarian aid to refugees. When you contribute to the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, you become an instrument of peace and join with Catholics around the world in solidarity with the Church in the Holy Land. Please be generous!

Easter CrossIt would seem that on Good Friday, when Jesus was crucified, died and was buried, he was a failure. His preaching and miracles came to this awful finale of his mission. But, that wasn’t the end of his story. Easter morning arrived and the resurrection gave new meaning and new life. We must remember that God is hereby revealed as the one who has drawn close to humanity in Jesus, and whose will it is that we may have eternal life and be raised up on the last day.

EasterBasketAll children are invited to come join us for an Easter Egg Hunt, treats and Easter crafts and there will be a special visit by a furry friend!

Parishioners and friends of Saint John Fisher Roman Catholic Church, hard at work packaging 23,000 meals to help feed the hungry of Burkina Faso. This land-locked country has recurring drought, pervasive and perennial food insecurity, and limited natural resources resulting in poor economic prospects for the majority of its citizens. Over 150 people gathered together, taking just a few short hours to package so many meals. Our original goal was to raise enough funds for 10,000 meals yet we all came together to more than double our goal!

23000 meals for Burkina Faso

"Thank you for participating in the CRS Helping Hands event! You packaged thousands of life-saving meals for people in need - and provided families with hope for the future.
