Please mark your calendars:  Our monthly Food Drive is the 2nd full weekend of every month.  Suggested donations: Cereal, oatmeal, hearty canned soups, baking supplies, canned meats, canned fruits and toiletries. Please check that the "Best By" dates have not been exceeded, otherwise the Food Bank will need to dispose of them. The Food Bank does not distribute overthecounter medicines for either adults or children, and so we cannot accept donations of these items.

For the Home Goods Room: Used items in good condition such as pots and pans, towels, pillowcases, sheets (especially queen), lamps and new bed pillows. Please deliver items to the Food Bank at: 30 Wilhenger Dr. Marlborough

Thank you for assisting our brothers and sisters in Christ, please keep all those impacted by hunger in your prayers.

If you are 75 or older and are struggling to navigate the system to register for a COVID vaccination, some of our parishioners who have helped others are willing to lend a hand. Please call the Parish office at 860-295-0001, and we will connect you with one of the volunteers.

May we be reminded of Dr. King’s words on agape something we need today more than ever.  This  definition reminds us what is involved in creating God’s beloved community here on earth:

Going through closets and bringing some items to Goodwill? Be sure to stop by the church to pick up a Goodwill Donation Card to bring with you.

Head to any of the 26 Goodwill drop off locations on the back of the card with the clothing and donation card. Drop the clothing in the appropriate boxes and give the card to an attendant.  Goodwill Industries sends St. Vincent de Paul Middletown VOUCHERS for free clothing based on the total donations received using the donation card that you just used. We make those vouchers available to social service agencies across our community.  Families needing clothing no longer have to go door to door, church to church to see if they have a warm coat, shoes or other apparel.
