We are proud to share that parishioner Sean Neary has been chosen to be a part of the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp Boston Marathon fundraising team. Several years ago, Sean began his partnership with Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang, spending his summer serving kids with cancer and other serious illness. Now as a college graduate and full time “adult” Sean continues to return to the camp to volunteer and has participated in several fundraising efforts.
The selection process to be on the Boston Marathon team is not only rigorous, but also requires that Sean agreed to raise $8500.00 for the camp. If you would like to support Sean in his efforts please visit the parish website for a link to his fundraising page. We are so blessed to have so many young adults like Sean making such a huge impact upon others. Please keep Sean in your prayers as he trains for the marathon this fall.
Many of you may know Sean from his involvement in the parish as his Eagle Scout project was to make the fence that surrounds our community garden.
