Forward With Faith LogoAs you may have heard, a major campaign being led by the Harford Bishops' Foundation is currently underway at St. John Fisher Parish and throughout the Archdiocese of Harford. This week, we will be sharing the core area of the Forward with Faith Campaign for the Archdiocese and our parish.

Educating to Reignite the Faith Catholic education is crucial to the future of our Archdiocese. Currently, there are more than
50,000 students served in our Catholic schools and parish faith formation programs. Funds from the campaign will:

A group of approximately 90 volunteers from St. John Fisher and the Marlborough Congregational Church joined forces during the HOTTEST weekend in July to serve 14 households in town. This first annual effort spanned three days, July 19 - July 21, and was highlighted by a kick-off barbecue, lunches each day, a Saturday Mass and pizza gathering and a wrap-up ice cream social for all volunteers and the residents whose homes we serviced. These gatherings were only made possible due to the generous donation of our air-conditioned St. Thomas More Hall and the volunteers who staffed these events!

Thanks in advance for starting out the school year of our Marlborough residents in a positive and ready-to-learn way!

Community Garden

The garden is doing great this year thanks to our faithful, core of volunteers! Anyone is still welcome to join us on Monday nights at 6:30pm to work on the garden. We are harvesting and donating to the Marlborough Food Bank weekly. If you have extra produce from your garden and would like to donate along with the church donations, bring them by on Monday evenings or to Mass on the weekends and place them in the basket provided.

Thanks to each and ever one of you for your part in the success of the St. John Fisher Community Garden.
