Maintenance person wanted to work 1-2 days per week to perform inside and outside maintenance and repairs at the church and rectory. Have general home maintenance and organizational skills. One of our parishioners, Hudson Visco, is launching his Eagle Scout project with our parish!
Hudson is creating a Children’s Prayer Garden behind our Church and will have a bake sale to raise funds after the 8:30am and 10:30am Masses on October 8th. Come support Hudson's project “growing” his initiative.

The Knights of Columbus 15734 of Saint John Fisher Church of Marlborough proudly awarded three $750 scholarships to graduating Marlborough seniors during mass on July 15th. The proud recipients are Samantha Margo, Diana Vito and Grace Neumeuth. Congratulations to everyone and best wishes in your future endeavors.
St. Vincent de Paul Sandwich Collection Thursday, September 28th
We will gather in the kitchen to make sandwiches as a community this month. Please meet following the 8:30 am Mass on Thursday, September 28th. If you cannot attend, you can make sandwiches at home and drop off at the church between 7:00—7:30 pm. Thank you for your support!

Calling All Those Who Can Sew
How would you like to join a sewing group in creating our beautiful baptismal gowns? We will provide directions, a pattern and a creative-minded community coming together to create these gowns while praying for the child who receives it. This is such a beautiful way to participate in celebrating our youngest parishioners, along with their families, in the Sacrament of Baptism. Please contact Heather in our church office if you are interested.
Did you realize . . . One of the greatest traditions we have within the Catholic faith is having a Mass said for a loved one whether they are living or deceased. By doing this, we are offering Christ himself for the intention we indicate. Considering that the Mass is the highest form of communal prayer, offering a Mass up for a loved one is a beautiful expression of faith. Masses can also be said as an expression of gratitude, to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday or as we are reminded by the Council of Trent: "for the living and the dead, for sins, punishments, satisfactions, and other necessities."
As St. Leonoard of Maurice reminds us: Let us be diligent in hearing Mass as often as possible, and with all possible devotion; and furthermore, let us endeavor to have as many Masses as possible celebrated for our intention. Mass intentions can be scheduled by contacting the St. John Fisher office at 860-295-0001. Intentions can be offered for both weekly and weekend Masses for both the living and deceased with a suggested donation of $10.00 for a weekly Mass and $20.00 for a weekend Mass.
