If you love music and singing, The Summer Singers may be just for you. We meet on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:00PM at the church, until the choir starts in September. This is a social activity so we’ll be singing both secular and church songs. The music is mostly from the late 60’s, 70’s and a few beyond; popular, country, and folk. Bring your musical instruments if any, or just bring your voice. There’s no commitment, so come when you can. We use mostly leadsheets with lyrics and guitar chords so you don't have know how to read sheet music.

Maintenance person wanted to work 1-2 days per week to perform inside and outside maintenance and repairs at the church and rectory. Have general home maintenance and organizational skills. St. Vincent de Paul Sandwich Collection Thursday, September 28th
We will gather in the kitchen to make sandwiches as a community this month. Please meet following the 8:30 am Mass on Thursday, September 28th. If you cannot attend, you can make sandwiches at home and drop off at the church between 7:00—7:30 pm. Thank you for your support!

Calling All Those Who Can Sew
How would you like to join a sewing group in creating our beautiful baptismal gowns? We will provide directions, a pattern and a creative-minded community coming together to create these gowns while praying for the child who receives it. This is such a beautiful way to participate in celebrating our youngest parishioners, along with their families, in the Sacrament of Baptism. Mass Intentions
Did you realize . . . One of the greatest traditions we have within the Catholic faith is having a Mass said for a loved one whether they are living or deceased. By doing this, we are offering Christ himself for the intention we indicate. Considering that the Mass is the highest form of communal prayer, offering a Mass up for a loved one is a beautiful expression of faith. Masses can also be said as an expression of gratitude, to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday or as we are reminded by the Council of Trent: "for the living and the dead, for sins, punishments, satisfactions, and other necessities."
As St. Leonoard of Maurice reminds us: Let us be diligent in hearing Mass as often as possible, and with all possible devotion; and furthermore, let us endeavor to have as many Masses as possible celebrated for our intention. Mass intentions can be scheduled by contacting the St. John Fisher office at 860-295-0001. Intentions can be offered for both weekly and weekend Masses for both the living and deceased with a suggested donation of $10.00 for a weekly Mass and $20.00 for a weekend Mass.
