Monday, September 25 is FAMLY DAY! Archbishop Leonard Blair is encouraging parishioners throughout the Archdiocese to eat dinner together as a family and enjoy each other’s company.
Here is a Prayer families can share together on this day.
FAMILY DAY MEALTIME PRAYER
Good and gracious God,
We thank you for the many blessings that we share, especially our families.
In faith we share our love for you. We share concern for each other,
And, we are ever aware of families in need of our prayers and our help.
We thank you for the food on this table, for the members of our family present, old and new;
For memories past and those we make today.
May families all around the world experience the joy of praying, loving and being with one another.
We offer the love we share this day as a remembrance of how much you love each of us. We offer
this prayer in the name of Jesus, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Amen

Many thanks to everyone who donated items for the Confirmation retreat dinner on Saturday, September 16th.
Thanks to your generosity the 10th grade class enjoyed a wonderful taco dinner. Special thanks to the Teen Emmaus team for creating a beautiful space for the 10th grade to gather for their retreat.
We greatly appreciate the support of the parish as these young men and women take the final steps toward Confirmation.

Second Collection for Catholic Elementary Schools - Sept 23/24. The HOPES Collection benefits the Catholic elementary schools of the Archdiocese by providing schools with individual HOPES Grants. These grants support a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus Christ, fund innovative educational technology, create future active Catholic parish and community leaders, and market Catholic schools as “centers of excellence.” The collection also supports the broad-based marketing and promotion of Catholic schools. Please help us provide a culture of faith and academic excellence to elementary school students by giving to the 2017 Catholic elementary school HOPES Collection on the weekend of September 23/24.
