As we move through the glorious season of Easter, I'd like to take this opportunity to send a heartfelt thanks to the Adult Worship Choir. As Music Ministers, the Lenten and Easter Seasons is our busiest time. We jokingly call Holy Week (from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday) a "marathon”—an apt metaphor considering the training, hard work, determination and dedication needed to reach the "finish line."
While our journey through the Passion is nothing like Jesus' true walk, the Adult Worship Choir has showed tremendous dedication to the ministry, committing to longer rehearsals, more involved music, and a deeper understanding of Lenten and Holy Week liturgical music. Holy Week consisted of two Palm Sunday masses, an extra-long rehearsal on Monday night, (only two days of rest!), the Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil), ending with two Masses on Easter Sunday.
I want to thank the choir for doing all of this for God's Glory. We have completed the "marathon" (until next year) and now you can rest knowing that "All is Well, All will be truly well!"
With love and gratitude,
