St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church

30 Jones Hollow Road, Marlborough, CT 06447

Throughout the year, many opportunities for service and outreach will be provided to our Confirmation candidates. Emails will be going out regularly with information about the various projects. Students may also choose projects of service that they seek out on their own. Students are to choose 4 or more projects to equal at least 14 hours of service. The maximum number of hours earned for a single project is 4, so as to encourage candidates to work on a variety of opportunities.  A sheet for recording these experiences is included in this packet. Before handing in this form, candidates are to choose the service opportunity which was most meaningful and write a reflection on this experience. Please hand this in at our April 23rd class.

Confirmation candidates are expected to perform Christian service projects totaling 14 hours. The maximum number of hours for any single project is three. This is to encourage candidates to work on a variety of service opportunities within our parish and the community. At least one of these projects needs to be one within the service program offered through our parish.
