Spring is a time for giving thanks for new growth, warm sunshine, and good health. Those of us who escaped the flu this season, ear aches, strep throat --and -- worse were very fortunate. Those of us who didn’t, relied on the care of our medical professionals -- doctors, nurses, assistants, and health care staff, to bring us back to health.
On Sunday, April 26th, join Archbishop Leonard Blair as he celebrates the White Mass, on behalf of our health care providers, at St. Mary Church, in New Haven at noon.
Where would some of us be without the expert care of our cardiologists, neurosurgeons, pediatricians, oncologists, and their staffs? They need our prayers for continued guidance.
After the Mass, a lunch reception at the Graduate Club in New Haven will be held in their honor, and the 2015 Archbishop's Award for Excellence in Health Care will be presented to: Cardiologist Dr. Daniel Diver of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford.
Tickets for the lunch are: $30 per person. Make your reservation today, call: 860-541-6491.
If you can’t make the luncheon, we certainly hope to see you at the White Mass at St. Mary Church, 5 Hillhouse Ave., in New Haven on April 26th, at noon
