St. Vincent de Paul Sunday Night Supper

The Christian Outreach Committee would like to thank all the wonderful volunteers who helped make the St. Vincent de Paul Sunday Night Supper successful. The generosity of the St. John Fisher Parish is incredible and was greatly appreciated by all at St. Vincent de Paul. The following letter was received from St. Vincent de Paul:

Dear Friends, Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful Sunday meal for our guests on April 29th. They enjoyed the delicious meal of meatloaf, vegetables, salad, rolls and desserts. What a great meal you provided for our guests. They thoroughly enjoyed it! You will be happy to know that you served 120 meals. We also appreciate the 9 volunteers who did a wonderful job serving and cleaning up afterward. You are all to be commended for a job well done. Sincerely and gratefully, St. Vincent de Paul

BIRTHRIGHT will distribute baby bottles after Masses on Mother's Day, May 13th weekend. We ask that you take the bottles home, fill them with coins, cash, or check and return them to the Birthright volunteer stationed after Masses on Sunday, June 3rd weekend. As you will see from the insert inside the bottle, you may make a donation in honor or in memory of a loved one. Birthright will send an acknowledgment card of your gift of life. This is an opportunity for our church families to have hands-on involvement in a project that saves the lives of unborn children and makes a lasting difference in the mothers' lives. Thank you for any help you can give.

toilettriesA special thanks to all who donated to the various collections during our Lenten season. Through your generosity, donations are helping people at Immaculate Conception Shelter, House of Bread and Catholic Worker House.
